Mark your calendars

Mark your calendars folks.

I have been invited to take part in two major book festivals coming up later this year.

The first will be the 7th Annual Sterling North Film & Book Festival. It is Friday, Sept. 28, and Saturday, Sept. 29, at Edgerton High School in Edgerton, Wis.

The second will be the Wisconsin Book Festival in Madison, November 7-11. I will join author Dan Manoyan, who recently released a book profiling University of Wisconsin football legend Alan Ameche. The book is entitled, "Alan Ameche: The Story of The Horse."

I'm working on the exact details of both festivals, so stay tuned as I will post more information as it becomes available.

Here are links to both festivals:

Appearance rescheduled

My reading/discussion on Tuesday, June 26, at the Kewaskum Public Library has been moved to Tuesday, July 24.

The town of Kewaskum is hosting its annual "Party on the Pavement" event on the 26th, so I figured there won't be much attendance for a book discussion at a library.

I will still have the discussion at the West Bend Community Library at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 27. I'm hopeful for a nice turnout.

Feature story

In Saturday's Daily News (West Bend), I will be featured in the weekly Library Column to preview my reading and discussion at the West Bend Community Library. The event is set for Wednesday, June 27, at 6:30 p.m.

"A Life Worth Dreaming About"

My novel, "A Life Worth Dreaming About," is seeing frequent circulation at the four libraries it is being carried at:

West Bend Community Memorial Library, West Bend, WI
Kewaskum Public Library, Kewaskum, WI
Slinger Public Library, Slinger, WI
Jack Russell Memorial Library, Hartford, WI

If you've had a chance to pick up the novel and read it, please send me your comments or comment on it on the Amazon and Barnes and Noble websites as it'll help my book rank.

And a reminder. I will be at Kewaskum's library on June 26, then at West Bend's library on June 27. Hope to see you at one of them.

Thank you for your support!
